Questions on Production Capacity?

Our MILESTONES answer

Our market has all types of players from an individual to grouped farmer’s network running
clusters as well as from private owned enterprises to public governmental agencies and
organizations in a country whereby over 180 million people are well fed with enormous
and different varieties of diverse agricultural produce. Despite the very many players,
meeting up with the population demand on a daily basis has been a daunting task. Hence
the market for our liquid fertilizer used in the agricultural sector is in its demand highest in dry
season. Our Strength is fully based on the fact that we are the Pioneer manufacturers of organic liquid fertilizers packaged in Nigeria.
*****The product properties and benefits are added advantage to us.
*****Generalized utilization by farmers’ associations and cooperative farm inputs network for inclusion as combinative approach because of the existence of the high mineralization and restoration effects on farmlands.

*****The registration with National Agency for Food & Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC) gives us ground for our easy operations.
*****Product affordability, discount incentives and efficacy are key to our customers’ satisfaction.

We as organic fertilizer producers are partly regionalized and partly nationalistic.
We fall under major producers as we have direct and indirect presence in almost any section of the country as comparable to big companies.

The market is presently populated with chemical fertilizers with its associated health hazards with exposure to our soil and water ways, that is why we continually work hard to see that our product reach as many communities as possible to help farmers restore their polluted soils.

C&C Humate Organic Liquid Fertilizer (CCHOLF) is the first of its kind in Nigeria and will be the only player in that product line, hence it will be in charge of the market for any organic farming right practices. It will compete against itself directly and indirectly with these long-time
existing chemical fertilizers considering all its holistic benefits of our product.

The sourcing of prospective customers commenced during the preliminary stages of our establishment which started from year 2013 through 2015 and mostly were all achieved by some reliable human resources. The company properly developed its network prior to the start of our first production in 2016.

Most of our customers originate from rural areas across the country where grassroots’
farmers easily reach us directly or indirectly through our independent marketers.
Our customers are being encouraged more on their patronage through our promotional
offers and discount programs

In general, Humate Fertilizers already has strong recommendations from notable
international bodies such as:

USDA National Organic Food Production Program;
US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and
Organic Material Review Institute (OMRI).

There are several satisfied users within Nigeria including private individuals and companies; different Farmers’ Associations; Federal Government agencies like NEMA and some State Ministries of Agriculture.

The first test run of sales was done in Owerri in year 2016 and extended to some
Local Government Areas (LGAs) within Imo State, from where we moved to Kaduna State
during the attendance of the First ECOWAS International Agriculture Agro-Allied and
Technology Exhibition organized by the Global Exhibition and Business Services Limited,
Kaduna State and held at the famous Kaduna International Trade Fair Complex KM4 where
we exhibited the power of the C&C Humate Organic Liquid Fertilizer.

FROM YEAR 2013 TO 2016
Following our company incorporation, at the early stages of our strategic planning, we began a very intensive training of rural farmers (including women and their children) as to understand the challenge of the Climate Change and the need for adopting the use of organic fertilizers such as our CCHOLF and explaining in-depth benefits via conduct of seminars.

FROM YEAR 2016
The launch of our first production and package design whereby our daily production capacity was approximately about 6,000 liters per day (500 cartons) with the number of engaged direct labour of about twenty-five (25) workers.

FROM YEAR 2017
The first upgrade on bottle design was implemented. Daily production capacity was increased to 7,440 liters per day (620 cartons) to meet more demand from the rural farmers. There were up to thirty-three (33) engaged direct labour workers.

FROM YEAR 2018
We created an attractive packaging method for our consumers by using transparent shrink wrapping along with new bottle design for firm grip. Daily production was at a capacity of 9,000 liters per day (750 wraps) to accommodate the grown  demand received from these rural farmers. The number of engaged direct labour was about forty-five (45) workers

FROM YEAR 2019 TO 2020
We returned back to the carton for group packing because transparent wrapping created a confusion as edible liquid due to the attractiveness in appearance. The daily production at a capacity of 12,000 liters per day (1,000 cartons) to meet its popular demand in the Northern Nigeria. Sixty (60) workers are currently being engaged. COVID-19 greatly affected the demand and sales.

FROM YEAR 2021 TILL DATE:
The bottle label is now a nylon with digital print which has an improved readable manual instruction plus illustrative guide on how to apply the fertilizer for a better impact on consumers’ satisfaction. Cartons package now appear more colourful with a better clarity; supplies with cartons are mostly used and implemented during the dry seasons while the shrink wraps can only be used during the wet seasons with heavy rainfalls. Daily production now at capacity of 60,000 liters per day (5,000 cartons or shrink wraps) with 75 workers now engaged.
